I'm in France and bought a local mag RS they have a buyers guide listing all air cooled cars. Now I'm not sure where they get there data from but here is what they have printed.

1st there top choices.

1 993 rs 6 stars

2 964 Turbo 3.6 / 964 Carrera rs both 6 stars 3.3 turbo only 3 stars

3 930 turbo 3.3 5 stars / 3.0 turbo 4 stars

4 Carrera 3.0 4 stars Carrera 3.2 also gets 4 stars

They also talk about the other models we did not get in Aus ie 964 turbo Leichau,964 3.8 rs , 964 RS N/GT ect.

Now it gets interesting when they start quoting values.

Long hoods are the same numbers as us just in euro. The difference is they have a lot more cars available to choose from. Prices all based on very good condition.

I could continue but I'm not a fan of the 993 models, I know they are very good cars but for me the end of the line was the 964. I hope this is of some interest to some of you.
