JD86 Posted 1September, 2015 Report Share Posted 1September, 2015 Hey PFA, looking for some tips on what seats to get for the F1 in Melbourne next year. Will be heading over for a mate's birthday in a group of maybe 4 or 5 guys. Thinking grandstand seats so we can use them as a base and go exploring from there.Any tips on which grandstands are the best? Is it worth getting the "premium" seats that are covered? The four corner grandstand seats look like they might be a good option as you are not tied to one corner for four days. Any thoughts on those?Appreciate any help as I have never been to the Melbourne GP and don't know the track.
Mick Posted 1September, 2015 Report Share Posted 1September, 2015 We've been quite a few times and found the jones stand the best it's also the same side and not to far from the GP bar if you get tickets early which is highly recommended to make sure you get the gold GP advantage tickets. Also you are better protected from the afternoon sun. There are also big screens opposite we found these to be the best. Hint get seats as far down the straight and up high this gives the best view over the catch fence and perfect view of the pit exit.
