911 575F1 Posted 21September, 2011 Report Share Posted 21September, 2011 I just received a letter from PCM explaining they've made changes to their business model and that they are offering a new suite of insurance services. I looked at the enclosed brochure they sent & it looks like any other insurance companies list of options, nothing stands out as unique to me. I'm currently insured with AAMI which I have several cars, homes insured with and they have always been competitive for me. I've quoted around each year and have been surprised each year that they've been both well priced and the terms are attractive. Has anyone had experience with Porsche's own supplied insurance ? On their brochure it's listed that it's provided by Calliden Insurance, I'm assuming they must be a good company albeit I've never heard the name before. Would be worth your while checking in with LUMLEYS, if your looking around. Good luck with it. Niko

Just got my insurance with them... after the one with VERO ended. Price came in a few hundred dollars less than VERO but there were a few more restrictions regarding overnight parking; but nothing major. Basically what I was told was that Porsche Cars Australia contracted the brand's insurance to new brokers. I spoke with them during the quotation and they do a lot of other specialist marques with access to many underwriters' products.
