3.3's didn't have silicon hoses

all pipes are metal with rubber "joiners",except the one into the sensor plate housing which is thick moulded rubber and is usually trouble free.

the only one that usually needs replacing is the "cold side" of the turbo, which goes brittle due to heat transfer.

have you tried genuine(eg.porsche dealer)?

I wanted to change the hoses only for cosmetic reasons, using red hoses. I am also thinking of a carbon fibre engine shroud.

if i remember,i'll try and grab a measurement tomorrow

do you mean fan shroud?,lot of work on a turbo to change that.

if you do you may want to order a set of inlet manifold insulating blocks

nearly every set i have removed over the last few years have been cracked,

must be getting to the end of their life expectancy :D
