Merv Posted 4November, 2016 Report Share Posted 4November, 2016 A bit of a perennial issue with the 356's is leaky steering boxes. Regular gear type oil runs straight through the seals in many cases. Bit of a plug for this 'self levelling grease'. Seems to do the job well and is easy to use on old cars with ZF boxes. http://www.penriteoil.com.au/products.php?id_categ=1&id_products=

Merv Posted 7November, 2016 Author Report Share Posted 7November, 2016 This self-levelling grease seems perfect and does not build up around the gears in the 'box, like general purpose grease can do, at times.
