Fair enough. If its in good nick with no pulled studs, they are a great revving motor...better than 3.0 or 3.2 IMHO

That's the problem.. if it doesn't have documented history of case savers and new studs then it needs to be factored in.

A friend is getting quotes to rebuild his 2.7  and with the costs for machining, line boring, case savers and more, the bill is at $5000.. and hasn't even got to heads, valves, cams, pistons, cylinders yet...
