Is a COA avaible for all cars or is it just cars that were exported to the US.

Reason i am asking is that i am getting the car repainted at the moment and the original owners cert of motor car doc says the color is grey slv (assume silver)

On all the charts i have seen thete isnt a grey silver. Canbanyone help me ifentifybthe original color.

I believe its available for all car but Porsche all provide them to USA based customer for some legal issues

But Porsche Australia can provide you with the same information in an email anyway. So you will get everything they have (except engine/gearbox numbers) for free

I was told that Porsche Aust or even the US variant would no longer provide all this information? I know the CoA is now a source of concern for Porsche due to fraudulent use of some of them.  I though that Porsche would 'confirm' what you already have (VIN, engine and g'box #'s, as accurate or not) but not provide the information otherwise? Maybe colour is different.

Why not get the Kardex as it is the Factory record and there are sources around ...

Is there no paint colour tag on the inner door panel?

Charlie White's site shows the colours by year http://derwhites356literature.com/Porsche356Colors.html

And even better on the Willhoit 'site  http://www.willhoitautorestoration.com/paintsamples.php

No response from the email address but realised the paint code is on a tag on the panel inside the door. Car was a special order color 710 stone grey.

I have the official sales doc so cant really get much more original than that. Car will be in paint next week
