LHD headlights

yes you have to change them. RHD headlights lift the light beam towards the left to light up the signs, LHD do it to the right, so actually on the road, you'll be blinding other drivers. And US lights ( i think only US) have a wider beam.

If it is a 911 with h4 lights it is just the lens.  You can buy the lens only.

if it is a 911 with us-spec sealed beams 'sugar scoop' lights they don't actually have a beam spreader, so you don't need to change but probably want to.

I bought the h4s from a Uk site I think.

new pairs cost around 900-1k, might do a bit better.  Used rhd pairs are about 500 ish if you can find them.

Also look into a headlight relay kit- combined with the h4s it makes a huge difference.

i also have my sugar scoops as a retirement plan - along with my boat anchor AC compressor.

Thanks guys, I think sugarscoops get a bad press, they look ok to me but get that they may not perform like the new ones...

For me it just means I won't have to change them immediately to get the roadworthy passed
