rafikdous Posted 1April, 2018 Report Share Posted 1April, 2018 The D reached $190k. It’s now on Carsales for $500k which is very over priced the Speedster reached close to $300k. Not sure if it was sold or not
Merv Posted 1April, 2018 Author Report Share Posted 1April, 2018 Thanks for that. Yes the D was on Car Sales at over $350K for some time. There was some US interest in these Lloyds bids as well. Neither car got even close to its reserve. D is now on eBay for $500 large. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1959-Porsche-356-Roadster-in-Stunning-Red-and-Cream-Trim/182905975473?hash=item2a960bb2b1:g:MzYAAOSwXtNai6LR&rmvSB=true It is also for sale on the Gold Coast at the same dealer as the Speedster: Speedster is now for sale on the Gold Coast https://www.classiccar.site/1956-356-speedster reportedly between $500K and $600K. Ambitious perhaps.
