Then, get onto Ebay and buy the Boxster Non Smokers Kit to replace your ashtray with a very handy storage compartment. Caver Posted 14January, 2013 Report Share Posted 14January, 2013 I can help you to install the console tray if you like, I've got all the right Torx drivers etc. Takes all of 10 minutes. I also replaced one of the switch blanks with a 2nd hand Porsche switch ($10 on ebay) so it matches the window switches. This is wired up to a spare garage door remote control which is now tucked down inside the centre console. Really cool! An integrated door opener activated by a switch on the console.
