davidgalea76@gmail.com Posted 9February, 2021 Report Share Posted 9February, 2021 Hi Guys, Im trying to do some research on which suspension options to use on my '02 996 C2. Im looking at either Bilstein p16, Kw's or H&R's coilovers. Alternatively Bilstein B6 with H&R lowered springs. Not wanting to track the car but do want slightly lower stance as well a flatter ride. Anyone using any of these options please let me know how they rate. Cheers
Carrera28 Posted 9February, 2021 Report Share Posted 9February, 2021 I have Gemballa coilovers which I believe are made by H&R, I am happy with their performance. They minimise body roll without providing a ride that rattles your teeth. This discussion from a few years ago discussing suspension for the 996 may be of additional assistance
Costas Posted 10February, 2021 Report Share Posted 10February, 2021 Its a pity the Porsche X74 lowering kit for the 996 does not seem to be available any more. I have this fitted to my 996 and love the performance and lower ride height it provides without any need for adjustment.
