Front passenger seat will not lock in place

I have stock seats in a 74 911s targa. The passenger side seat will easily go forward to allow access into the back seat but it won’t lock into place. Has anyone had this happen and is it so thing that can be fixed or is it a new seat?

Take the seat out and look at the slide rail and handle and locking pin and associated springs/cables. Should be able to be fixed'
