Hi all, I’m a newby on this site and I’m wondering if anyone has any idea where the “transmission temperature sensor” is situated on a ‘91 Carrera 2 tiptronic’s gearbox, my car’s transmission light is constantly on and a diagnostics report refers to the sensor failing hence the car is in limp mode (stuck in 3rd gear)... any info’ on this would be much appreciated! Hi John, No idea i am afraid, But have you checked out the Rennlist Forum in the 964 section, Lots of knowledge in there sure you will find your   answer.

Have you had a look at the PET (parts manual) to see if it's listed or shown?
