Broadsword Posted 19February, 2013 Report Share Posted 19February, 2013 Last weekend my wife had a flat tyre so she was going to use my car instead. She jumped in, tried to move the seat forward but nothing happened. Is this a common problem and is there something I should be looking for in particular as a fix? The preset memory buttons work on the driver's mirror, and there is a sound coming from near the seat suggesting it is trying to move forwards or backwards and nothing is happening. Not in a great hurry to fix it as my wife cannot drive it until it is fixed; LOL! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would also check your fuses to see if one is blown. However as you mention there is a noise it is likley that the seat motor is failing or failed.
