997 Top Tether Child Seat Mounts

I am moving to Brisbane in a few months and bringing my beloved 997 (and family).

To help make the compliance checks as smooth as possible I plan to expose the top tethered mounts in readiness, which involves cutting the carpet.

Related posts suggest that there is a perforated outline to cut out but I can't find this for the life of me.

I would be grateful if someone who has done this before (or has them cut out) could give me the dimensions from the rear quarter interior trim to the centre line of the mount, and maybe confirm the width of the standard cut out.

I am trying to avoid having the remove the quarter panels to rear the chunk of carpet behind the Bose.

See distances marked in red on the attached.

I have also attached a photo of my 997 as means of an introduction.

Thanks in advance.

Tom

So I forgot my login details and then got busy this week ... anyway :Chuckle2:

Large man getting in the back of a 997 doesn't equal greatest results but here we go:

Grr - can't upload the rest here - moving them offsite.

So based on the photos its about 170mm from the side wall following the fold.
