TwoHeadsTas Posted 4December, 2023 Report Share Posted 4December, 2023 The burglar alarm in our 981 has started going off intermittently over the last few days, making me wonder whether the battery is on its way out, however it starts fine, with no hesitation. While driving the voltage shows as 14.0v on the readout, and I checked it again this morning without starting the car and it showed as 12.4v (I might have otherwise expected 13.8???). I'll check again tomorrow morning, so it will have been 36hrs between starting the engine to see what shows then. Car has been in the garage unlocked. Battery is less than 2 1/2 years old.
