If you are after a scan type tool that works on P cars, you need a Durametric. I have one & it is a fantastic tool. You use it with a laptop.

One feature that can be handy, is when looking at a used car purchase, it can scan the ecu & tell you how many over revs(ie past the limiter), the engine has had. It also tells you total engine hours & can reset ecu warning lights.
