The track keeps going up above the tree line, and into the snow fields - which are just dirt and rock at this time of the year. Strange. Don't tell me Pikes Peak has been reduced because of the GFC, or for insurance reasons?!! At least its still running I guess, unlike the Classic Adelaide that apparently has gone bust! I will see if I can find the actual winning run, but I think it might have been just this last weekend and may not be posted yet as it only came up on google alerts today.
