Peter M Posted 15October, 2013 Report Share Posted 15October, 2013 Yes, that's my view too but the one I have was replaced when it was resprayed so it isn't as old as the car. Interestingly (confusingly?!?) there has also been some expert opinion on this forum to try to reuse the old one if you can to reduce the "difficulty factor"! Also remember that the seals don't go in dry but with a mastic sealer so there is no greater risk of leakage unless the seal is next to buggered. Nevertheless, I've made arrangements that if the seal needs replacing, just to do it even if it means a couple more days wait.
Peter M Posted 24October, 2013 Report Share Posted 24October, 2013 WOW! The difference is amazing! Driving it home was like there wasn't a windscreen there at all. +1 for the replacement option.
