as I think most here are interested in all things mechanical, here are some pics of what`s inside the heads of a 4 valve ducati desmo. this level of dismantling is for a  valve lap and shim adjustment. most of the rockers need replacing, I believe from a lack of ZDDP that was not advertised by the oil companys, and is why air cooled p cars should use an oil with a high level of zinc,25,000 km of high zinc riding and racing left the rockers in perfect condition however just 5,000 km of low zinc road riding and the hard chrome has worn through on most of the rockers
