Stew F Posted 16March, 2014 Report Share Posted 16March, 2014 Wasn't sure where to post this, so I thought the aircooled section is as good as anywhere. I'm after a 3D CAD model of an aircooled 6 cylinder engine. I want to make some mods to my car and I designing parts like brackets, adapters and exhaust in situ is the best way to go. Pretty much any native or translation format is OK. I'd prefer a solid model over a surface model, but I'll take what I can get. Thanks
Russ Posted 16March, 2014 Report Share Posted 16March, 2014 on a side note there is a 3D model of a 911 in 'project falcon' which was a short lived beta version of an AutoCAD standalone product if anyone ever needs to do aero i'm interested in a 3D engine model for making an air con bracket too
Stew F Posted 16March, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 16March, 2014 I did find one on a 3D model website, but they want $75 for the download. It looks pretty good, but $75 is a bit rich considering it's only a dumb model. I do have a reasonably good model of a G50 gearbox case.
