GregAx Posted 22March, 2014 Report Share Posted 22March, 2014 Hi All, Just going through a service and tune since picking up the 930. Found the vacuum hose from the decel valve to the manifold had perished and split. Since replacing a few hoses, plugs, rotor and cap she runs great. Just need to confirm the correct timing adjustment for a 930 3.3. From the sticker info on the fan shroud it's 0 +- 2 degrees TDC at idle speed. My question is, does the Z1 marking on the pulley = 0 degrees which should line up with the notch on the housing? Also does the timing need to be set with the distributor vacuum disconnected and blocked. Thanks GregA
Vas Posted 22March, 2014 Report Share Posted 22March, 2014 Hi Greg. For some reason I can't copy anything from the web to this site, not sure why. However, if you search on Pelican Parts Turbo Forum "How much timing do you have with one bar" you will find what you need. Its a good read. Congrats on the car, it was worth the wait.
