Hughesy Posted 12April, 2014 Report Share Posted 12April, 2014 Hey guys , can anyone advise what fuse 35 labelled DME Is for. I need a 10 amp fuse for the radio. No 35 is also 10 amp , was just thinking to borrow it to see if it's only the fuse that's causing the radio not to work. Any ideas. Thanks Hughesy
Hughesy Posted 12April, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 12April, 2014 Sorry , it's on the 1989 964/
FlatSix Posted 12April, 2014 Report Share Posted 12April, 2014 It's for the DME relay which I believe controls fuel injection. I'm pretty sure our northern hemisphere brethren pull the fuse when they get the car out after winter, allowing them to pre lube the motor by turning it over. Hughesy Posted 12April, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 12April, 2014 Thanks NJ. I used the fuse and now have music. So will replace it in DME before I crank it over. All smiles in ryde. Cheers hughesy
FlatSix Posted 12April, 2014 Report Share Posted 12April, 2014 The only music you need comes from between the rear wheels
Hughesy Posted 13April, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 13April, 2014 I kinda like good driving music too. Especially when roads are clear for a late night blast up the old road to Coast. Lots of twisties and cool night air. Boo yah
