firstone Posted 2January, 2015 Report Share Posted 2January, 2015 Our 15yr old boy is fascinated with justice and how it is meted out. A very different new years eve, we visited the gaol in Brisvegus. Well 11am to 130pm anyway. Incredible to see the inside of a prison. Well worth it IMO. I'm sure it's not everyone's cup of tea. There are a few different tours, even one M15+ rated taken by an ex-gaurd or ex-prisoner. Google Boggo road, and book on line.
Tit Posted 2January, 2015 Report Share Posted 2January, 2015 Have checked out a few gaols in Aus. Port Arthur is a good visit as well as Melbourne Gaol Fremantle Gaol in WA. Try the night tours to freak the kids out a little more
Stew F Posted 2January, 2015 Report Share Posted 2January, 2015 Yeah, the Silent Prison at Port Arthur is really something else. Old Adelaide Gaol is an interesting place as well
