thesnowdrift Posted 12March, 2011 Report Share Posted 12March, 2011 Hey Guys, I am looking at changing my airbox and the new one does not have allowance for oil breather from the tank, anyone know what the risk might be if I just cap of my oil breather? PCM911T Posted 14March, 2011 Report Share Posted 14March, 2011 Hi Pete, as you say it's a breather! so don't block it off, that would pressurise your crankcase. I have rain hats on my Webers, so fitted a K&N filter with the number (F014B4). Use the existing tube to join, either short or long, as I have seen both arrangements. thesnowdrift Posted 14March, 2011 Author Report Share Posted 14March, 2011 Thanks Paul, Thought that may be the case, i need to actually run it back into the airbox as per original but got no idea what parts I need. It just had some badly kinked piece of hose made to fit on there. Pete
