t888 Posted 11February, 2015 Report Share Posted 11February, 2015 Hi all, I've seen people modify virtually every aspect of their cars, but I've never seen any major changes to the interior dashboard. To my eyes this is the most disappointing part of the 996 models. I'm picturing a retrofit of the 997 style interior to the 996, without the 996's dated, curvy trim panels. Why is it that no-one seems to have created a more 993 or 997 style interior for the cars? Are there safety/airbag issues? No demand?
Pauly Posted 11February, 2015 Report Share Posted 11February, 2015 Resale value will drop. Getting things to fit correctly and work correctly. There's a lot more involved than just changing the dash over.
t888 Posted 11February, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 11February, 2015 Yeah I can imagine a lot of trial and error getting parts to fit - but this is the age of 3d printing
