Navigation Maps GPS Map Updates for Boxter & Cayenne

Recommended Posts

hi everyone.

Does anyone know if there are any reliable suppliers in Australia with maps for Porsche?

Wife drives an early Cayenne and the dealer quoted $1500

I have an early Boxter and it was almost about the same for the maps.

Both maps in both cars are pretty old and to drive in Brisbane I am using Garmin which is not ideal

Porsche dealers are doing a special with servicing at the moment (or they were). The map update if you're running PCM 2.1, which I assume you are in the Cayenne, should cost no more than $350. I think the service deal added up to $1,000 including the map update so I'm not sure where they are getting $1,500 from?.

This is the first time in many years that Porsche have updated the maps for the older nav' units. I took the opportunity to get mine done, as the old version didn't even recognise my suburb. "Whereis" provide the maps I believe.
