Pam986 Posted 20February, 2015 Report Share Posted 20February, 2015 Hi all, Recently on two evening drives I have had a problem with my dash lights not turning on. The first time it happened it was on start up and I drove a little, pulled over and jiggled light swith until dash lights came on. On the second occasion I couldn't get them to come on and while driving on the freeway they would flicker on for a second, doing this a few times when finally I was almost home and they came on. I noticed they returned to life as I was going around a bend, I don't know if this is coincidence or if it has something to do with turning the steering wheel. Could someone direct me where I may look for a possible loose wire or if you know exactly what is causing this problem your advice would be appreciated. Niko Posted 20February, 2015 Report Share Posted 20February, 2015 Mine did that once on an SMT about two years back, Pam. All lights flashed up for a couple of seconds. No idea why or what caused it. Kept my eye on it for rest of SMT and it never happened again. And still hasn't. I realise that is not quite what is happening to you, but maybe it is a glitch somewhere in the Boxster electrics that makes it flash or in your case disappear.. Be interested in what you find out.
