ADS911 Posted 20April, 2015 Report Share Posted 20April, 2015 Hi Guys, I'm thinking of embarking on a BBI Autosport Project Nasty type of conversion. Currently have an 81 Guards Red SC US Converted Car in ok cond, that was always destined to become a fast road/track car. So no problem bastardising an Aust. Delivered car here. Happen to have the RUF front and rear bars (impulse eBay buy when I had a 3.2C). Currently have rear coil overs, will do front conversion shortly along with probably Boxster Calipers and bigger discs shortly. This has worked well for me in the past. Stripped & caged interior suits my needs as well. Unsure on wheels at this stage but that will progress. Biggest problem is going to be finding a 3.6 that doesn't need rebuild etc (thanks IROC) but there is other engine options and can stick with my 3.0 to start with but know that won't last too long as I've had 3.6's 3.8's in the past and will be wanting the power again, as you do! Looking to do something a little different but useful and practical for my needs, this seems to fit these requirements.
