9er Posted 17June, 2015 Report Share Posted 17June, 2015 I bought this 915 gearbox and had Mark Poole Motorsport go through it and replace some synchros etc. Excellent condition, drives perfectly, surplus to requirements. It is standard for up to '73 and fits later cars also, the difference being later cars were 8/31 ratio, so final drive ratio is 4.42:1 instead of standard 3.875:1. Feels like an extra 30Hp. It owes me $4500, I would accept $3500. I will eBay it in a week or so if there is no interest, cheers.

9er Posted 17June, 2015 Author Report Share Posted 17June, 2015 Peter, it is a 915/02 and from the serial numbers I can deduce that it is a 1972 5 speed. Magnesium case with mechanical speedo drive.
