D-banger Posted 4November, 2009 Report Share Posted 4November, 2009 I have not done any track work but would love to put the foot down without worrying about losing my license. The Porsche course at Phillip Island looks good. Can anyone share their experiences of this course?
Kerry Posted 7November, 2009 Report Share Posted 7November, 2009 Great idea to get some supervised track time before trying your hand at a PCV comp' day (which is where you know you want to be!), and I'm sure others will differ with my opinion, but Philip Island as your first track day!? Big Balls Out to ya Doug! I did a couple of courses through John Bowe Driving School at Calder which I found excellent - closer, and quite frankly, easier track. Sandown is a good place to start as well. Neither have you doing 220kph+ down the main straight looking like you're going to fly off the edge of a cliff into Bass Strait! It doesn't happen often, but... ...and thats not even talking about Lukey Heights... Check out John Bowe... Kerry
