Via ebay, i can get one out of the US for 600 US dollars. Im worried that the part may be different to Australian models due to the left hand drive. However, sometimes we need to pay a bit more for some important parts. $600 for an unseen ebay part? If you go that way, I hope it works out. If it was me, I would be trying to find a good unit here that you can test before buying. If that fails, I would be looking at a new one from Porsche$$$. I'm out of the office until Jan 9, but if it is the ignition switch that you are after, I can definitely help. If it is the steering lock, I'd need to scratch around a bit to see if I can do anything. Mods - apologies if this is considered misbehaving in terms of the board rules.
