cabriolet strife!

I went out with my friend in his new 3.2 cabriolet and being excited obviosuly was in a lead foot mood.

not being lucky enough to have experienced air cooled ownership my eye missed the small gap where the fabric hood meets the windscreen in all the excitement.

at about 95 kmh under full song the wind grabbed it and flicked it up.. does that mean the hydraulics and structure is damaged.. being a late 80s car it is all electric!

apparently the roof system only works when the ignition is switched halfway on not when the car is running

he doesnt come on here but thought it would be worth checking if anyone knew anything

thanks
