wilburforce Posted 8December, 2016 Report Share Posted 8December, 2016 Purchasing a 79 SC which has been imported into Australia quite a while ago, new engine put in and then registered in SA. There is a VES sticker on the car - which seems to be the equivalent VASS cert here in Victoria. Because it's been complianced already, the VIN, year and engine number are on a national database. Therefore the usual VASS certificate required to register in Vic is not required. Bill from Talk Torque kindly pointed me in the right direction today. So big ups to him and many thanks.
