stcos85 Posted 14December, 2016 Report Share Posted 14December, 2016 Hope someone can help. Is the area where the rear numberplate goes flat as mine has had a few dents in the past. Car is now bare metalled and has had a small repair. Before i start this hope someone could advise. rafikdous Posted 14December, 2016 Report Share Posted 14December, 2016 Your car is an A (not a Pre A) so the number plate light is the correct one (shine up) for an A and you have it in the correct positionPre A cars had a shine down light which was above the plates.As Merv said, looks like your car had a rear end bump before, the area is not supposed to be that flatHere is mineI see you are in Melbourne, I could make you a cardboard template of the profile if it helps.
