Merv Posted 12July, 2017 Report Share Posted 12July, 2017 I am going to drop the 356 donk soon and have been accumulating some parts. I might as well change over the clutch. I have a new disk but wondered if there are any recommendations on pressure pates (180mm) for a T6B - in Australia. They all seem to be in the $430+ range and it is cheaper to buy from the US? Merv Posted 13July, 2017 Author Report Share Posted 13July, 2017 The T6B has a specific release gearing arrangement but the clutch diaphragm and disk are normally both 180mm (the former is the 'finger' type and the latter has the inserted springs (unlike the A), as I understand. The VW wont work, for long if at all. Prices from the US for the diaphragm mechanism (Sachs/Boge) are around AU$355 delivered. Local suppliers seem to be about $435+ freight. I think however I have found a solution in Australia that is better.
