It might take months or longer to get it fixed depending upon where you live. What will it do for the used car industry? Like diesel , the taint remains long after the problem surfaces. Front/ more to the side impact at low speed (maybe 40 or less) I would not expect it to go off. That in itself (a normal functioning airbag) would do more harm at that speed......
