Farewell To The Great 968CS

After 4 years of ownership , the GP weiss warrior is off to its new home in Victoria.

As I sit here awaiting its new keeper to arrive I am reflecting on my time with it.

This car is indeed the best drivers car I have ever owned and driven.

She has seen off weekend warriors in WRX's, EVO's and GTR's.

She has taught me about balance and smooth driving.

She has taught me that Torque,Tires ,Brakes and Suspension are far more important than outright horsepower.

She has taken me to an indicated 260km/h.

She has made adrenalin course through my veins.

There are no other vehicles on this planet that can do this like the 968 CS can.

Farewell and keep being uber-cool weissy.

Nothing will ever replace you.

I recently sold a car I loved and although sad, it is good to know another will feel the joy of ownership.

Such a great car, I hope the new owner appreciates what they have

I too attest to the capabilites of your road warrior and delight in short course competiton wins against the mentioned vehicles and BMW M3's.

Unfortunately there are only a few such cars in Australia, but to have owned one is a delight ! I am sure your photos will keep you Smiling and you will still enjoy your other Porsches.

Maybe I will pull up alongside it one sunny Melbourne morning. Invite the new owner to join us on an SMT.
