Mounting NSW Historic Plates

Recommended Posts

Greetings all,

Not sure if this is the right place for this topic, but seemed an appropriate place.

I've just put two of my cars on NSW historic plates. Problem is these plates are small and the holes don't line up with the mounting holes in the cars. I don't want to drill more holes in the car so I'm looking for a suitable mounting plate/assembly. I've had a look around Google but not a lot jumping out at me. Does anyone have any suggestions for mounting these plates to a car?

Thanks.

Won't be the cheapest option I'd imagine but https://www.lakinplates.com.au will be able to make you a bracket that does exactly this.

I had mine made up to fit NSW slimline plates based on the holes already in the bumpers of my 996. Really high quality. I put a few photos here for reference.

Thanks for that. I'll give them a call. They look clean on your 996

Yeah, he's fantastic to deal with. That will keep me going back to him for sure.
