Merv Posted 1January, 2022 Report Share Posted 1January, 2022 I need to replace one of the parking brake shoes on my 88 Carrera 3.2. These sets of shoes are generally the same for 74-89 I believe. Part 91135209798 . Is there any where in Australia where these can be obtained at a reasonable cost?
WB997.2GTS Posted 1January, 2022 Report Share Posted 1January, 2022 Merv, Masterparts in Sydney have shoes for $50 each. They might be worth a call on Tuesday or you could try BWM.
Merv Posted 1January, 2022 Author Report Share Posted 1January, 2022 Thanks for that. They don't show those parking brake shoes on their parts list, but maybe that is just a sample. BMW?
icu_jimmy Posted 1January, 2022 Report Share Posted 1January, 2022 Bob Whyms not BMW. Or try James at Autohaus.
micknine01 Posted 1January, 2022 Report Share Posted 1January, 2022 James / Autohaus is always my go to. No fuss, no wrong parts and a fair price. Why bother shopping around

Merv Posted 2January, 2022 Author Report Share Posted 2January, 2022 Thank you! When I searched I must have used 'hand' brake. And they can be bought individually/in pairs.
