finnystew Posted 1October, 2022 Report Share Posted 1October, 2022 Heya. So I've had issues with the horn for a while and finally figured it out The steering wheel doesnt seem to mount flush, making no contact with the horn. The picture shows how far the wheel goes. Am i missing something here? Metaphorically or literally. Any guidance would be appreciated
TwoHeadsTas Posted 1October, 2022 Report Share Posted 1October, 2022 Original wheel or a replacement? Steering column splines changed between 986 / 996 and 987 / 997 from memory, could this be a problem??

finnystew Posted 2October, 2022 Author Report Share Posted 2October, 2022 Solved! Turns out the hub just needed to be loosened and brought forward towards the wheel, rather than the other way around. Happy horn, roadworthy ready. P-Kay
