AndyS Posted 28May, 2010 Report Share Posted 28May, 2010 Thats really funny. Kinda reminds me of the time I backs my dad's Sigma into my mums 260Z....er....not quite in the same league!! AndyS
D-banger Posted 28May, 2010 Report Share Posted 28May, 2010 Ouch! Kinda reminds me of that movie where the parents go away and the boys find the keys to the Porsche. There's a lesson in that movie Doug

Red944S2 Posted 30May, 2010 Report Share Posted 30May, 2010 How embarrasing, I thought the parents and particularly Porsche handled it very well. I never leave my wife's car in gear ever since she crashed the first car that we bought for her in 1969, a used but one owner 1948 Austin A40 Devon. I brought it home polished and cleaned it, parked it in front of the garage and finally took our baby son out of her arms and watched her get in and start it, straight into the garage door. Luckily I had been brought up in the school of "never stand in front of a car being started" or the whole episode could have been disastrous. She still drives a manual, my choice, and still does not check to see if it is in gear, hence I NEVER leave it in gear.
