911 conversion and 5 speed parts?

I'd convert to a 915, which is relatively simple, leave it LHD as it will cost you alot of money to convert it.

You'll need a 915 Box (4-5k dependant on where you get one), a manual pedal cluster, Flywheel, Clutch, Clutch cable, Shifter tower, shifter rod and shifter. Plus a few other small items.

You're looking at around 6k+ to do this, if you do the work yourself.

I would be buying the parts from overseas from pelican parts.

You could also try Autohaus hamilton(nsw) to get a comparison quote on parts supply as they are very competitive.

It does make sense to convert if you are doing a full body restoration and repaint but this would cost north of 20k, if you are paying someone else to do it.

Link below for a 'local' conversion expert, although I have never heard anything about this company :

Seriously, I used to dislike LHD cars , until I actually drove one. Now I own one and I love it. It is great fun and you get used to it within hours, if not minutes.
