pocketscience Posted 7January, 2014 Report Share Posted 7January, 2014 Has anyone removed/replaced their stone guard decals on the rear quarters? What's the best way to remove old ones? Mine are looking tatty.. but not sure if they'll simply peel off. G.
Caver Posted 7January, 2014 Report Share Posted 7January, 2014 Gavin, I think that Theo (T-Man) did this some time ago....there might be an earlier thread. Cheers, David.

tazzieman Posted 13January, 2014 Report Share Posted 13January, 2014 Mine were 25 years old (on the 944), and stuck on hard! There are 6 decals in total on some 944s... I used a hairdryer (not mine) and soft scraper (I can't recall if wooden ruler or plastic scraper), but then much of the old glue remained! Granny's remedy was tea tree oil. Though it took plenty of effort , there was absolutely no damage to the paintwork. I can't vouch for modern paints though
