Mtheo72 Posted 27March, 2014 Report Share Posted 27March, 2014 Driven a Toureg? The 2014 models have stacks of equipment as std, heaps of grunt and very relaxing to drive. In fact they are so good they are re-badged as Cayenne's :-)

In fact they are so good they are re-badged as Cayenne's :-) Yes, looking at the V8 touareg as well, seems to be a really well priced option. Same V8 as the Q7 & 92ASPorsche Cayene. Mtheo72 Posted 27March, 2014 Report Share Posted 27March, 2014 Running costs are quite reasonable too. All Toureg's have capped price servicing.
edgy Posted 27March, 2014 Report Share Posted 27March, 2014 Yes, have had good experience with X5 3.0d! Great car, would recommend to anyone... Drive them all and see for yourself.
GC9911 Posted 28March, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 28March, 2014 Went out & drove the Touareg V6 180kw & the X5 3d today. Both are very impressive vehicles, the Touareg is definitely Cayene like, actually very difficult to tell the difference in driving between the Touareg & Cayene other than the visual appearance. I have driven the Cayene at Eastern creek & Qld raceway at some speed & had the Cayene as a loaner on multiple occasions when getting the 991's serviced so very familiar with the Cayene. But, & here it comes, the X5 (IMHO) is in another league. Obviously haven't driven the Macan yet but the X5 is certainly in first place at this stage.
