Hughesy Posted 19April, 2014 Report Share Posted 19April, 2014 After sitting down having a coffee gazing at her rear end I got to thinking she needs to spruce up a bit. It's not her best aspect at present. Where's the place to source rear reflectors and blinker assembly. I'm sure this will sharpen up her looks. Thanks gents. Ben C3.o Posted 19April, 2014 Report Share Posted 19April, 2014 I haven't tried it but if it's fading that's the issue give them a polish with toothpaste. There are some threads here with before and after shots and they came up a treat.
twood Posted 19April, 2014 Report Share Posted 19April, 2014 There is a guy in the USA that sells a vinyl wrap that is cut to fit the rear lights and centre that's looks very good and only costs about $60-I could look him up if interested. Quozl Posted 20April, 2014 Report Share Posted 20April, 2014 Getty Design make a rear reflector delete plate if you want to get rid of it completely.
FlatSix Posted 20April, 2014 Report Share Posted 20April, 2014 If your lights are starting to look a bit pink I would suggest what twood said. If you buy new ones they start going pink again after a few years and they are not cheap. I am going to wrap mine soon (its on the list )

Hughesy Posted 20April, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 20April, 2014 I like your idea too Qouzl but I want to keep it as original as possible. Even going back to design 90 rims.
Kermitt Posted 23April, 2014 Report Share Posted 23April, 2014 Just like the hoons that darken their rear tail lights with a grey spray tint I managed to find a red one from auto barn and sprayed the rear lights and center reflector . It looks great and has lasted many years now. Only someone who knows would pick that it's not quite factory. Only problem is that your reverse lights when on are pinkish red. FlatSix Posted 24April, 2014 Report Share Posted 24April, 2014 Kermitt did you spray the inside or outside of the lens?
Kermitt Posted 24April, 2014 Report Share Posted 24April, 2014 My initial intensions were to spray the inside but its impossible as it has webbing that is glued and cant be removed. So I sprayed the outside. Gave it a good clean first and I then used metho to remove any oils.
FlatSix Posted 25April, 2014 Report Share Posted 25April, 2014 I had a feeling getting them apart might be an issue. Thanks Kermitt
