Tit Posted 23April, 2014 Report Share Posted 23April, 2014 Hi WA Crew... I'm in Perth - arrived tonight. Fly out on 28 April. Any of you interested in a coffee / beer / meet-up? (My ANZAC morning and Sat evening already booked). I'm way down south, but might have access to a car... Cheers!

Deejay Posted 24April, 2014 Report Share Posted 24April, 2014 I'm house sitting in the Swan Valley over the long weekend if any of you boys make it out this way. Couple of good breweries and cafes around the area. Cheers. DJ

Guest Harold Posted 5May, 2014 Report Share Posted 5May, 2014 I spent 3 hours on the Tarmac in Sydney last Thursday on the way to Perth. Supposed to leave at 0600 but once boarded we pushed out 10 meters and after 25 minutes we heard the biggest BS excuse I have ever heard. "We were supposed to have some maintenance conducted last night but it has not been signed off so we are going to be pushed back to the terminal and it will have to be done again". 3 hours later off we went. Wonder why I got up at 0400 to take off at 0900.
Tit Posted 5May, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 5May, 2014 If it's not signed off, it might as well have not happened. Hopefully an engineer somewhere got his pay docked to the effect of several hours of lost productivity for the airline...
