Oil Temp Gauge Overlays

I guess they'd work. But some times factory gauges aren't accurate as aftermarket ones.

Id suggest this if you buy it:

 - Install it

 - Remove sensor

 - Extend wires

 - Boil water & Dip sensor into water. Use accurate thermometer to measure temp and compare.

got temperature issues?

do you have temp markings as standard or just the white/red bar?

No temp issues that I'm aware of, and yes just the white/red bar. There are temp markings on the gauge  but you have to be a

contortionist to see them:) I believe only early 911's had the markings on the gauge, don't know why they would change it to be honest?

my gauge is rather unreliable, I've had a pyrometer on the filter and the thermostat at 80 degrees and it was all up in the red (after having the oil cooler fitted)

I fitted the cooler and now don't worry about it anymore, I do keep an eye on the gauge and if it ever gets to the red I know something will be wrong (fan stopped, belt broken, cooling issues)
