Tit Posted 10September, 2014 Report Share Posted 10September, 2014 Not sure about the wide-body, but this tool is sometimes helpful: http://www.willtheyfit.com/
Pauly Posted 10September, 2014 Report Share Posted 10September, 2014 That website is very useful. If you're getting new barrels on a 16" get 17" or 18" instead. My friend did that on his wheels and looks amazing. Just bolt your original wheels on and see how much more roomy you have at the back and use it as a guide. then see how much room you have at the front

BJM Posted 13September, 2014 Report Share Posted 13September, 2014 How hard (read expensive) is it to change the off set on a set of 3 piece rims?
Tit Posted 13September, 2014 Report Share Posted 13September, 2014 Split the rims, decide if you're changing the inner, outer, or both barrels, obtain new barrels. Clean. Re-seal. But I suspect it's like an engine....'while you're in there....polish lips, swanky new hardware, refurb faces' etc etc... clutch-monkey Posted 13September, 2014 Report Share Posted 13September, 2014 it's 'easy', but as tit says, depending what the inner or outer barrels cost, being easy doesn't make it cheap haha.
