mockney999 Posted 14October, 2014 Report Share Posted 14October, 2014 Hi, My tiptronic is only partially working it wont change up gear on the right hand switch. I had Porsche quote me for a replacement and its quite expensive over $500. I was wondering if there is any way of getting hold of a replacement cheaper than going via the main dealer?. I have checked e-bay etc but the only ones for sale are for a 986 and not a 987. Thanks

mockney999 Posted 3November, 2014 Author Report Share Posted 3November, 2014 I was able to buy a brand new wheel (with the additional multifunction controls) for less than the cost of the replacement tiptronic switch alone. Hope it should be easy to swap over its perfect condition. I just hope that with the additional radio controls on the new wheel this is a simple job to just "plug in' and will all work ok?
